a thousand and one paintings
blended seamlessly
into oceans and dips and hills
my eyes have never before witnessed.
the gates of the land
proudly lifted their heads
and the voices of the wind and rain
took my breath and sang with it
whispering melodies

yeah. lilo should go back to being a redhead. the president's ball cured me of my oscar-ness fever. i had more fun dancing to oldies than watching the oscars.
